We have used a couple of other painting contractors in years past, but once we worked with Jamie the first time, he earned the right to get all of our subsequent business. Most recently, we had the entire cedar surface of our large deck replaced, so I called Jamie to arrange for the cedar to be stained after the installation of the new boards. He suggested that he coordinate with the carpenters so that he could stain the bottom side and edges of the boards before they were nailed down. This made the project more difficult for both Jamie and the carpenters, but the two teams worked together well and ended up with a great looking and well-protected deck. Afterwards, as a second project, Jamie came back and repainted the trim on the house, replacing several rotted boards. The house looks great, and I know the job was done right.
